DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM TO RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, depart with packed lunch and drive to Ruaha, one of Tanzania’s best kept secrets. Embark on a long, 9 hours drive which in return rewards you with a truly fascinating, and authentic feel of the African country side. Arrival in the early evening for check in. Dinner and Overnight at a tented camp / lodge. We recommend Ruaha Hill Top Lodge (mid-range) or Mdonya Old River Camp (luxury).
Day 2 & Day 3: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
You will have two full days to explore as you enjoy game drives within Ruaha National Park with packed lunches. The remoteness of Ruaha gives you the perfect impression of a real safari in wild Africa. Return to the camp in the evenings for overnight at your tented campsite / lodge. DAY 4: RUAHA – MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
After a sumptuous breakfast, drive to Mikumi with packed lunch. Your Arrival at Mikumi National Park will be in the early afternoon. After lunch and freshening up, set off for a glimpse of Mikumi with a late afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park. Dinner and Overnight at your tented camp / lodge. We recommend Swiss Tan hotel (budget) or Stanley’s Kopje Camp (luxury).
Day 5: MIKUMI – SELOUS GAME RESERVE
Early morning wakeup call and after a cup of coffee, delve into Mikumi National Park for an early morning game drive while the wildlife both predator and prey are still active. Return to your lodge for breakfast and depart with packed lunch for the Selous Game Reserve. The journey will take you approximately 7 hrs through the most amazing, truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania.

Day 6: SELOUS GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, depart for a full day of safari drives within this vast, largely untouched reserve.
This day, you discover Selous, Africa’s biggest wildlife reserve, opening you up to the pristine, untamed Africa south of Tanzania. Dinner and Overnight at your tented camp / lodge. We recommend Selous River Camp (mid-range) or Selous Riverside Safari Camp (Luxury).
Day 7: SELOUS GAME RESERVE
Wake up for a very early breakfast and indulge yourself into a very adventurous activity – A walking safari! You will join a professional guide and an armed ranger for a walking safari into the wilderness and experience natural Africa on foot. This is a very enlightening trip where you will learn a lot about the flora and fauna of the reserve and its inhabitants. Return to lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, experience a boat safari on the mighty Rufiji River. You will glide through groups of hippos, crocodiles, villages and see amazing bird life along the way.

Day 8: SELOUS – DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch. Early afternoon arrival in Dar es Salaam and drop off at a hotel or International Airport for onward journey.
